“What’s helpful is that Charter is very good about developing relationships with not only the residents but with families as well. My mother was very reluctant to move, but Don Franks worked diligently to make connections and make her feel more comfortable in her transition. We were able to get a small grant from Charter, which assisted her in moving, and there is no way we could have done that without them. My mom has had health issues, and they have done a great job in helping her. I cannot say enough good things about them, and I would highly recommend them to others looking for senior living.”

“Recently, we transitioned my mom from her trilevel home to a one-bedroom apartment at Charter. Of all the communities that we visited in Bowling Green, this one went out of their way to answer our questions, conduct multiple visits, including home visits to my mom, and do everything possible to make the move a positive experience. All the staff members are friendly and have worked to develop a relationship with her. The residents truly care for each other like a neighborhood. Don Franks is a genuine, caring soul and will go to great lengths to accommodate your loved one. Tracy Chapman, the health and wellness coordinator, has bent over backward to address my mom’s health issues and ensure she is well cared for. ”

“My mom has moved into Charter Senior Living of Bowling Green. I chose this community because it was convenient to where I work, they had all the care that we needed, the folks were just extraordinarily nice, and they actually negotiated on the room cost with me a bit. The staff members are the nicest bunch of people I’ve ever dealt with. The community is clean and well maintained. Her room is a nice, comfortable room. They have multiple activity areas and dining rooms, so even though my mom doesn’t get around very well, she doesn’t have to travel very far to where she’s going to eat. They have two television areas, and throughout the day, they engage residents in different ways. They have a small in-house library, church services on Sundays, and Bible study a couple of nights a week. They even have a beauty parlor and barbershop. The staff has been kind and very helpful to my mom. ”
